Journal sielwolf's Journal: Post Hoc 9
The Thanksgiving travel is over. I took today off so I could come back today instead of braving the Penna Pike yesterday (i.e. the Sunday after Thanksgiving aka Hell on Fucking Earth). It took me 5 hours 40 mins to get to my brother's apartment last Wednesday... 5 hours to get back to my apartment today. The vacation day wasn't a complete waste: got to spend yesterday watching the... Browns... "play" with my Andy from Alabama and My Not Brother Scott (before Andrew returned to AL)... got a haircut today (looking sharpish plus) and basically got to pretend I don't have to go to work tomorrow.
Fitz'd with the camera and caught up on some reading (and now you don't need to visit).
On the way back I had some great ideas for the story. Something of a first scene to be battered about and a girl's name.
Forgot: the best part about this weekend was the tollworkers' union in PA going on strike. That meant no tolls in Penn on Wednesday and a single two dollar toll today. The usual is $8.25 plus the 1.25 for the stretch NW of Pittsburgh. Your boy saved himself 18 dollars. When the manager/whatever took my 2 buck today at Breezewood I told him "hey, you guys should do this every holiday."
He was not pleased.

What did I use? Would the magic spell be broken if I said it just came with my camera?
I just have a Canon Powershot SD200 which has a panorama-stitch mode. It's sweet in that it keeps half of the previous stitch picture on screen so you can match it up perfectly. The Arcsoft Digital Camera Suite is the software that came with it. The camera stores the stitch sequence seperately so it can be selected and go to the stitch program provided by Arcsoft
