I've got a PC sitting on my desk that's from 2012 with a quad core processor, 12gb RAM, and the HDD was upgraded to SSD in like... 2017? KDE feels snappy with the onboard video.

When I install a KDE system for someone, I right-click the app menu -> configure app menu -> choose "Description (Name)" for the "Show applications as" option.

This should really be the default. Then, Dolphin is displayed as "File Manager (Dolphin)", Konsole is "Terminal (Konsole)", Kate is "Advanced Text Editor (Kate)" and Kwrite is "Text Editor (Kwrite)".

Ahhh, I got you. Thanks for the clarification... yes, it seems likely a chunk of those flatpaks are on Fedora. IIRC Mint includes flatpak by default now, too.

I've owned 2 of the 3 manual hybrids ever sold in the US. A 2000 Honda Insight 5MT, and a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid 5MT. The third was the Honda CRZ 6MT, but without the plus 2 seating in the back, I couldn't use it.

I'm not even in the top list of linux's relatively small slice of steam market share (Fedora) but I e found the experience to be pretty seamless.

They did reach orbit in January, though. Recovery of the booster failed, but not a bad result for the first flight of a new rocket (New Glenn). A very different beast than the hopper (New Shepard) they're using for tourists.

Right click the menu/launcher and choose configure. "Show applications as..." defaults to name only, but you can choose description only (ie "calculator") or description (app name) or app name (description) where the parentheses are a minor heading so little under the main displayed thing. Changing the main displayed item also sorts the menu alpha by that so calculator would be under C not K for kcalc.
