That's not necessarily true. In Central Europe, nationalism is alive and well (actually increasing due to the perceived cultural threat from the EU), and a picture with three different skin colors for three people will not be interpreted as affirmative action, but unwanted external cultural influence.

Particularly the black guy, as you don't expect to see black people every day.

In Hungary, at least, the original picture would cause outrage from the far-right and a measurable decrease in sales.

You only have to look at the evening news with their "surveillance camera" footage to know that the ever-present camera does little to deter criminals. What we do get is a better record of the crime, which mostly just helps prosecutors convince the depicted offenders to agree to plea deals, as opposed to being used as a great bit of evidence to support a case to have them convicted and serve the prescribed time for the crime committed.

It's my understanding that narcotics sniffing dogs have been allowed to use the narcotics they're supposed to be sniffing for and thus having felt the effects of those narcotics are motivated to find them in the future. Perhaps this is a similar case where an agency is rewarded with the confiscated possessions of their victims...errr...customers.

Same here. I've washed SD and CF cards more often than I'd like to admit. Despite that I've never had one fail out of the wash.

I've had one card fail though. My Palm Treo uses SD cards and once when removing the card my fingernail was in the perfect position to split the card open at the seam. When I removed the card from the phone I had 2 pieces. One plastic cover(the part w/o the label) and the remainder of the card stayed together. I re-attached to cover and attempted to read the card in several USB readers and the phone as well. It was dead. The devices never recognized that a card was inserted.

Why has no one recommended the obvious? Stop being a pedophile and making up elaborate excuses.
