"If a factory opens in a less prosperous state isn't that a good thing?"
If they were going to do productive work then it would be possible for the net value to be greater than the cost of putting that work in that location, though not guaranteed.
But we all know this isn't productive work; it's to work around a pointless import ban. All TP-Link needs is to beat the prior supplier surplus after deadweight loss.
Getting rid of law schools but continuing to legislate is like getting rid of engineering schools but continuing to build bridges.
"What Romney's School taught him is how to break the law without breaking the law. "
Did Harvard Business School teach him that or Harvard Law School? (Mitt Romney has both an MBA and a JD.)
The problem with resorting to piracy is that they think we are rejecting their prices, which they think they can combat with more ads and tighter security.
If we are in fact rejecting their bad customer relations and bad business practices and bad products regardless of price the only way to send that message is to not engage with their products or their businesses.
Some things are not worth stealing.
"Jamie's version of the show"
Jamie's version of the show is the one with Adam. He specifically recruited Adam because he know with just Jamie there was no show.
"a possibility to open"
Turns out, this one does have a possibility to open.
"how they were able to eliminate 3 positions"
-1, strawman
The actual claim is that it takes same amount of paid labor per customer in both scenarios therefore they *haven't* eliminated 3 positions..
"deployment of non-standard hardware"
If you make the AI model, and you make the tools that use the AI model, and you already have a ASIC design center, and you're making the hardware for yourself, being non-standard isn't the problem you think it is.
"not exactly making the best decisions."
NVFP4 was publicly announced less than thee months ago. It's implausible that anyone could have it hardware by now (except NVidia themselves of course).
GF gave up on logic processes after 14/12nm. Even the finfet 14/12nm was a process they bought from Samsung. They skipped 10nm to try going directly to 7nm (on another process bought from Samsung) and failed so hard they spun out their design arm to make it easier for them to buy from other foundries.
"whose ass MS pulled an entire chip fabrication plant out of"
No one thought that except you.
Why do you turn off the tests and checks that would apply when Bob tries to check in 100% handwritten code just because Bob is trying to check in AI-generated code?
Or is the reality that you were never testing the check in and you've just gotten lucky so far?
The problem is that the submission contains two stories but the headline only describes one of them.

Nothing stated links any company where Dubrovsky was an executive with the fired contractor who allegedly failed to install a patch.
"the companies found abusing the system"
No, they are worst the companies that will be subject to the investigation that is currently starting. I see no reason to grant the Department of Labor any presumption of regularity. It's plausible that they are abusers, but the DoL can damn well show their work first before people start getting punished.
MAC user's dynamic debugging list evaluator? Never heard of that.
