...surely the Rodney Dangerfield of scripting languages.
If one couples this statement with the more general Axiom #7 of Programming Languages (A7PL*), it follows that JavaScript could be interpreted as little more than a dancing gopher. Therefore, JavaScript "don't get no respect".


*Axiom #7 of Programming Lanaguages (A7PL) states that scripting languages are the Chevy Chase of programming languages in general.
