The pigs don't get table scraps because the dogs get those. Pigs get feed that comes in big sacks but no it's not like in the US where they live in cages, they have a decent life it's just very short.

It must be their diet. Everyone where I live eats local pork and I've never heard anyone say it tastes better than supermarket pork.
