my goal is not to spend more time looking at the interface
It's called "engagement" and maximizing it is the goal of most companies now.
Capitalism and racism were invented for exactly the same hard-right reasons.
What is the name of the inventor of racism and what year did he or she invent it? Did the person patent their invention?
Check their voting records to see how false that is
I'm not sure what you're hinting at. What portion of my statement are you claiming to be false?
(The evils of corporatism are a common theme for example) so every successful title in the series is an example.
Wokeness has little to do with corporatism, other than the fact that both tend to be left-leaning ideologies. However, you'd be amazed at the number of anti-woke, anti-corporatists out there (many Bernie supporters fit that mold). Overall, many Dems from the 90s and early 2000s have maintained their anti-corporatist views while avoiding the quagmire of identity politics.
How much high functioning autistic and neurodivergent people are out there because they get really really good at masking
I'm not trying to single you out, but I feel the need to express my extreme disdain for the growing popularity of the term "masking". I have family members with autism and while I've never been diagnosed, I would be extremely surprised if I wasn't somewhere on that side of the spectrum. My childhood was extremely lonely because I was almost completely unable to socialize with the other kids. It was an incredibly difficult ordeal, but with a lot of work over a very long period of time I was eventually able to learn how to socialize. People who didn't know me as a child are surprised to hear how different I was since I'm at a point now where I can converse with just about anyone over almost any subject. Socialization is a skill and like all skills, it comes a lot more naturally to some. But just because someone overcomes challenges that were created by some form of neurodivergence doesn't mean that they're "masking". I understand that there are appropriate uses for the term, but I often see it used in instances where it's being applied to people who have put in the work to overcome the challenges of their neurodivergence and I hope people consider this more carefully before using this term that is rapidly gaining popularity.
FWIW, I agree with most of the rest of your post.
Yes but Congress can remove and then replace the President (impeach President, impeach VP and name whom you want as Speaker and they assume the role)
This is true but in order for it to happen, each member of Congress has to go on record as opposing the person that controls the military.
So really when you think about it in a certain way at that point it's up the Generals but if you are at that point where those actions are taking place your nation is already on the precipice of of a military junta anyways.
This is why systems of government need to be designed with the worst-case scenarios in mind. The U.S. system of government was designed to protect against numerous forms of tyranny, but the world has created new forms of tyrants with many new tactics since then. With the path we seem to be headed, I have a feeling we're going to have some hard lessons learned once we start putting back the pieces.
we can say it's co-equal branches but one of those is more equal than the others in practice
Unfortunately, I think it's impossible to have co-equal branches of government: whichever branch controls the military is automatically the most powerful branch.
The root reasons are the same as the tiktok ban
The root reason for the Tiktok ban is that Trump got butthurt that people used Tiktok to coordinate requests for tickets to a Trump rally that they never intended to attend. This left many empty seats at the rally and a very bruised ego for an orange narcissist.
