And they aren't burning down naturally occurring homes. These things are man made. This dialog of treating fires like "oh well i guess we just watch the world burn cuz its NATURAL" is what annoys me.

Japan knows they have earth quakes. The government mandates a certain level of earthquake resistance on buildings. Why does this not happen here?

The USA spends trillions of dollars on military, why is this not something they can assist with? why are fires treated as "natural" in an era of everything being man made. It should be one more battle in the war against nature.

Why?
Broadcom is the aggressor here, from tfa:
"in a separate patent dispute since 2018 over Netflix's alleged infringement of Broadcom patents related to video streaming technology, with cases in California, Germany and the Netherlands"

The business world has collectively come to the same conclusion as soviet russia and USA regarding nukes: Dont use your patents against us and we wont use ours. Patents in the business world are basically nuclear war as EVERYone is infringing on someone else patents and to do business its better to just ignore that fact.

Netflix just whipped out their patents as that is the only way to combat a patent aggressor in this day and age. Broadcom is just continuing to prove they are worthless piles of poop. But its your right to hate netflix for any reason, i just dont see why THIS is what's triggering you.

I grew up during the 9/11 era and still remember when the NSA was caught backdooring cisco routers and putting custom firmware on wester digital HDDs that were crossing the border. this was even to their allies like canada. A free democratic western country did this to their own hardware.

If you think that a less democratic and ANTI west country is not doing the same, you are retarded.

I told my young Nephew if he wants real world superpowers in this day and age, just get good at reading, as it brings good reading comprehension.

As an IT professional, nearly 90% of the calls I get in a day stem from a lack of comprehension of the prompt. (mostly because of immigration, and English as a second language syndrome but we wont go so far as to be racist here).

Lawyers are modern wizards who take language to new heights, and are paid well.

Prompting Ai is all about relations to words.

Even in traditionally physical work like tradesman, knowing how to reference material guides, specs and digest words will put you ahead of your contemporaries.

You have to assume alot here, but given the various spectrums and low power modes of communication an iPhone is capable of (NFC, bluetooth, whatever proprietary protocol apples airdrop and airtags uses) their Faraday cage may not have the appropriate shielding to counter all forms of radio communication.

Also apple has devices that are capable of pushing updates to completely uninitialized and still inside the unopened box. so one would assume this does not require cellular and would be very possible to implement peer to peer updates.

The masturbating security monkeys sure seem to think Rust is hot shit but I want REAL WORLD examples dammit. If I was a billionaire I would be paying top programmers to battle head to head, and benchmark both the code, and TIME TO WRITE the code, of C vs Rust
