With whole things moving to the universe of virtualization and heavy encryption technology the location and security of the physical machines become non-issues. there is no need for owning the hardware in the future unless you had specific needs and if you are are the type requires special needs then you can not risk not to have in-house data-center where you probably have $$$ and the thing is high profile. Um...google & apple don't they have their own data-center? Enough said...and move along, as there is nothing to be discussed.

If you approach the concert ticket with same approach as how airlines do the business...

1. id should be enough to gain the entrance, because some people don't have access to the creditcard.
2. cannot attend for some reason, give refund according to the time table like university's tuition or refund in the form of ticketmaster credit or band credit.
3. transfer can be possible with transfer fee high enough which should make scalping unattractive and limit the transfer to 3 transfer per year and one person can only buy one ticket to the venue and account is tied to the ID rather than creditcard number.

some hardware's firmware(BIOS) require floppy disk option for updating firmware = 5%
Microsoft Windows XP and Servers always requiring the use of floppy for loading storage device driver during an installation setup = 95%

Should Windows become obsolete in 3 years the need for floppy drive will completely die out.

IDEs With VIM Text Editing Capability? 193

An anonymous reader writes "I am currently looking to move from text editing with vim to a full fledged IDE with gdb integration, integrated command line, etc. Extending VIM with these capabilities is a mortal sin, so I am looking for a linux based GUI IDE. I do not want to give up the efficient text editing capabilities of VIM though. How do I have my cake and eat it too?"
