I think a lot of the fear is because it could have very easily been a lot worse than it turned out.

I've heard about systems in cities that read number plates and time you between their different locations to see if you are speeding, I'm guessing a system like this could be used, just a matter of if it is cost effective or not.

Unfortunately in Outlook it forwards the email you are looking at, rather than it being for find, quite annoying when it seems to be the standard in every other app.

Not necessarily true. If a piece of steak is lean, then yes generally the rarer the better. However a lot of expensive beef has fat marbled through it (e.g. Waygu Beef), what I have been told be a reputable chef is that for this sort of meat it should be done medium, so that the fat marbled through it starts to melt and it brings the flavour out, rather than these parts being bits of solid fat.

So they talk about the "Ice-Skater Effect", even though they say that goes on "forever" wouldn't it wear off as buildings are rebuilt and new trees grow? What else is shifted closer to the center of the earth of any significant mass that they are aware of to come up with such a specific number?
