      Certainly some people would put forth he did a good job; I'm trying not to be totally biased here and post only liberal hippy immigrants.

    But you might want to remove Bell - he didn't invent the telephone. You COULD add Alexander Graham Bell Kowalski - the first Telephone Pole.

    Technically, you could also include Washington and Jefferson, since the colony of Virginia was English territory at the time, but I guess not :-)

    And the Birthers would have you include Barak Obama ...

          Odd that the wikipedia article on Bell doesn't mention the controversy. Wikipedia also says
