Journal nizo's Journal: Whew that was close 12
The tooth fairy almost forgot to visit; I am thinking the youngest would have really been bummed if she wasn't able to participate in the teeth for cash program. This is only the second time she has participated, but I think she was pretty excited about it the first time.

That sounds sweet! Congrats on the save!
But it left me wondering...what would happen if the tooth faerie went on strike? What would be the fallout, i.e., who would be affected by the sudden shortage of baby teeth on the "supply" end? And just what *is* it that they do with all those teeth?
I smell the makings of a fun children's story...

So my question is, what's the going rate on teeth now-a-days? Not too long ago it used to be a 1/4.

Yeah, she gets $1/ tooth. It gives her a little bit of extra incentive to get the teeth out (instead of letting them stay in and make the teeth coming in crooked) so I figure it is worth it.

Plus a very steep interest rate. The Tooth Fairy is a loan shark!
