Finally got around to texturing and rendering the first thing I made in my maya class. It looks like a bunsen burner for some reason.

Heh, could be that too. The assignment was to make a column shaped thing, and since everyone else was making romanesque columns, I figured I would make something else. :-)

Heh. I can't tell you how many times I have modelled something, and then scrapped it because it looked too phallic. Wtf already??? (Some weird Freudian thing I am sure)

Like a Freudian slip at dinner. My friend meant to say, "Would you pass the salt please, honey?" but instead it came out as, "You've ruined my life b1tch!"
Love the "column." It looks like a watch tower from one of those alternate universes in which some technology has greatly advanced and others have not. Either that, or, that it is an ancient structure in an era which can no longer duplicate its feat. Unless I am reading too much into it;-)

Looks like a thumper. Great texturing too... I love sci-fi movies that introduce a gritty look instead of the clean, sterile look. A little roughness makes it so much more real.

...take the cap off, wipe off all that goo first so that it doesn't get on my hands, and then write with it, and see what funky metallic-looking ink comes out.
