Journal nant's Journal: I'm in the Army Now 2
I'm in the army now.
It happened some 2+ months ago, when I got that green letter - the colour of an official letter from the army. The moment I saw it I knew that my fun days are over [I was wrong].
I got a date to show up at the inlisting building thingie, I showed up at that day, met some old friends from bootcamp/college [we eventually got stucked together even afterwards] and then got on the bus to an unknown location [I had no idea to which corps. I wam inlisting to, can you imagine that? sheesh].
We got to the Techni, an Air Force base where the fresh soldiers go through their proffession course and afterwards move from that base to their new base... Anyhow, I got my new off-white uniforms [I like these uniforms...], got a 8 people room on the 3rd floor of Hilton 192 [oh, how ironic, a dump that's called Hilton... heh] and from that day 'till now I've been studying [and still am for a few more months].
What can I say. Fun. At first I was pretty depressed since I was put in an electronics course rather than a computers one [since computers is what I majored from college and is my Thing] but after a while I started to like this course, it seems to be less electronics-centric and more to the hardware side of things, which is nice since it's close to computers...
Well anyhow, I can't be bothered with continuing this writing, I ruined it at some point. Blah, better luck next time.
