I've been quietly wishing that the media would report this as an airplane issue rather than a 5G issue. The airlines have had plenty of time to upgrade their radar altimeters to versions that are less indiscriminate about "noise" from adjacent frequencies. They've passed at at least one previous deadline and this is the second (?) that they've missed. This issue didn't sneak up on them - they simply didn't act on it and the media keeps reporting it as if the phone carriers and the FCC are picking on the airlines.
