there lays the problem. another country can make a cheap car but to sell in the usa they need to meet are over regulations example little turbo diesel cars that get 50-60 mpg nope cant have those you upset the epa. a 8000$ gas car nope wont get them because once one safety gets done with them they are now a 180000$ car. all done by the big 3 to keep everyone else out that could undercut them in terms of price.
