Journal lemming's Journal: Sam Jackson vs The Army of Snakes 2

I just got home from watching Snakes on a Plane, the first movie (to my knowledge) to ever become a cult classic before its release.

Quality of movie aside, it was the most fun I've had in a movie theater in a while. The crowd was even livelier than the time I went and saw a certain audience participation cult classic. Some people even smuggled in a guitar and sang a fairly good rendition of Cobra Starship's Snakes on a Plane (the music for the closing credits). Okay, most of the guys singing were on top of it, but one or two...

In any case, wow. I'm glad I saw it on the premier--I doubt the crowd would have been nearly as fun any other night. A theater full of people who are seeing it for the first time, but still shouting along to, "I'm sick of these mother-fucking snakes on this mother-fucking plane!" Thank you, internet!
