Journal lemming's Journal: Tab completion == bookmarks? 7
It occured to me that my preferred method of keeping "bookmarks" is to just use tab completion. This is the least portable method out there, but works very nicely from the keyboard. Simply a control-L (or apple-L on my iBook) followed by any of the following. Have fun trying to guess what they are, and no cheating! If someone can guess most of the list without cheating (I expect a few can), I'll make cookies.
sla
boi
war
life
make
slu
schl
pen

mur
som[tab]p
som[tab]a

Interestingly, I gravitate towards slightly longer (one or two extra characters) tokens than are necessary for uniqueness in many cases if it'll make a whole word. Not that surprising, really, when you consider that your muscle memory for typing is slightly better at typing whole words, hence "war", "make" and "life".
(Note that this just represents the subset of my browsing experience that I typically do with tab-completion. I also use bookmarks for a portion of my daily-sweep.)

Besides that, AG hit them all right on the head. (Oh, the make blog is makezine.com/blog/)
