Comment I'm so glad that humans are never delusional. (Score 1) 61

Oh no, AI makes mistakes! So do humans where 40000 people die in car wrecks every year. Check the - total deaths per driver mile with AI driving. That will set the stage for this, "AI is a loser mistake machine." How accurate are LLMs on average, compared to people. Also, who are these people who don't understand how AI works, so they automatically believe it? And it's AIs fault? Really?

Comment It's shocking to me that this question is asked. (Score 1) 248

From my point of view, if someone isn't aware of how AI can help them, they are either ignorant, or biased. I often think it's the later. I'm not a coder, but I've written useful gui programs for myself in Powershell, and Python. I'm running proxmox, and I'm not really a great proxmox admin. I've gotten into trouble, like, "crap nothing is working," with various network settings, OPnsense, Pi-hole, etc. And it's taken me back to functional every time. I work together with the AI, way quicker than searching forums. I do a lot of Photoshop work. I'm partially red/green color blind. I'm colorblind, but AI is not. I've been able to work with ChatGPT to correct photos and all kinds of added sources of images together in Photoshop, because AI - can see color. Does anyone think that's useful? If you can't figure out how to use AI for your benefit, then you're just being plain dumb.
