In the US, doctors don't heal patients. They are there to push pharmaceuticals for the pharmaceutical industry. If you cure someone you lose a customer. If you treat the symptoms then you have a customer for life.
Perhaps the most significant loss is MTV News' vast hip-hop-related archives... So nothing of value was lost, but to be fair, MTV lost all value when they got rid of the M in MTV.
So are blue politicians going to be up in arms about banning hammers now? We all know that it was the fault of the hammer and not the mentally unstable person wielding it. If it has a black rugged grip on the hammer will that be considered an assault hammer? What about sledge hammers? Nobody needs a 10 pound sledge hammer! We need legislation put in place so no American can own a sledge hammer over 2.5 pounds.... Oh yeah, it's to save the children.
Disposable garbage made in a disposable country by disposable people. When asked why I don't trust the safety and quality from China for the things they import to the US my response is that they don't even care about their own people let alone our people.
A good start to cutting costs would be to get rid of the DEI department and then corporate communications and also HR.
That which can be abused will be abused.
Another case of a very small minority wanting the entire world to change to suit them.

In other words: The right about of money has been exchanged to the right hands to permit this.
Sure it has, and they have all the made up statistics and numbers to prove it right?
Uhm. Isn't the whole premise of the DMCA to be weaponized?
Just remember, Pharmaceutical companies are not interested in making cures. Why cure a person once when you can have a customer for life. Find ways to turn off all the body's alarms and have the person be just healthy enough to keep taking the meds for as long as possible.
About as insightful as banning plastic straws or Big Gulps.
So in other words, they stacked the deck in their favor to get the result that they wanted to report.
I attribute my success to intelligence, guts, determination, honesty, ambition, and having enough money to buy people with those qualities.
