I try to be very accurate in my time accounting. I have had to work 7 days per week in crunch time. I have a 2 hour commute each day. After I hit my 40, that time counts. I don't get paid for it but it is time that is no longer mine. I have worked 24+ hours straight multiple times. It really sucks and I wouldn't recommend it. Once when I worked for a construction company while I was in college (during the summer), we tried to work 20 hour shifts to remodel a restaurant in four days from start to finish. We finished in time but I got sicker than hell after that and was off for almost a week recovering and not getting paid. Not my idea of a good time. I really resist doing the whole crunch time thing.
