I'm actually all for this. It's an outdated thing that is not needed at all.
You need to set it to a date in the future like 2030 though so all computer systems can get the update without issue.

The details are not known but I am not paying a single penny for anything in a car that my phone already does. I don't even use carplay or whatever. I tried it and hate it. My phone can be mounted. I don't need another screen. Just give me good audio.
If needed, I'll just get a blutooth speaker for in my car to use with my phone.
Oh, if GM is doing this, do you honestly think they are the only ones?
So much more mentally healthy.
These noises exist to get your attention so companies can make more money.
My phone rarely buzzes or anything. It's been amazing. I turned off noises like 5 years ago. I remember looking at my phone every time it buzzed every 5 minutes.
I've learned to ignore texts. I might not respond for hours. I don't care. If you are dieing, that deserves a phone call. If I am at work for 4 more hours, no I don't need oto hurry to tell you shit.
You know what else. When you tell your friends you'll be somewhere at a given time, get your ass there!
My Ford Escape failed emissions because the CPU in the car would not communicate with the computer the emissions station connected it to.
It resulted in a recall to upgrade some sort of software on the car.
I failed emissions because of a recall that had absolutely nothing to do with how the car burns fuel.

What change in a business makes it's value go up 3% one day and down 6% the next. NOTHING CHANGED!
This is how Warren Buffet makes his money. HE MAKES MONEY BY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF INEFFIECIENT MARKETS!
There's no law that says adult stores can't log people that enter if they want to. And people could refuse it and not get entry.
Growing up (I'm older) you had to be 18 I think to buy a playboy. I think even video based porn required you be 21 to rent/buy.
Having seen porn, I don't really think 13 year olds need to see anal gang bangs quite yet. The internet really has changed things and while I am not aware of the changes in mental health of children I'd imagine there are plenty of studies on it.
Just a random article I picked off Google. I think there is alot of things here that should be obvious and there is evidence to back it:
Pornography proves to be especially detrimental to children and adolescents. According to many researchers, early exposure to pornography is connected to negative developmental outcomes, including a greater acceptance of sexual harassment, sexual activity at an early age, acceptance of negative attitudes to women, unrealistic expectations, skewed attitudes of gender roles, greater levels of body dissatisfaction, rape myths (responsibility for sexual assault to a female victim), and sexual aggression. Children’s brains are not equipped to process the adult experiences depicted. Early exposure to pornography also increases the likelihood that depression and relationship problems develop.
Agile is basically a way to document/manage cowboy coding.
Also, agile is more of a start up methodology. Where getting a product out fast and showing something working (even if buggy or incomplete) is a necessity.
Established companies should not be doing this. What frightens me is being at an established company and having departments moving to this methodology. I'll be long gone before it's an issue due to what i do though.
I've aways said we need a pro domestic terrorism channel
Stage 1: Rule-Based Systems. (1960s maybe?)
Stage 2: Understanding Context and Retaining Knowledge. (Google maybe? mid 90s)
Stage 3: Mastering Specific Domains. ( 2020ish but maybe a little sooner)
See that 30 years jumps.......
So AGI in 5 years?
Stage 4: Thinking and Reasoning. (Ehhhhhhhh, are we really there?)
Stage 5: Artificial General Intelligence. (Ya, we'll be here in 2030)
Stage 6: Surpassing Human Intelligence. (Hi SKynet)
Stage 7: The AI Singularity. (Skynet won, we're all dead)
This is a horrible idea. I don't speed but I do pass and you need that kinda of power/speed to pass safely. Won't take long for someone to die over this bill if it ever passes. In remote areas I drive, it is all single lane road and all it takes is one semi or trailer to drive slow to make traffic go 40 mph instead of 55 mph the entire 60 miles! You have to be able to pass safely.
I watch youtube all day while working. WEll, it's on in the background.
Someone from either the house or senate was on and said we are at the tipping point where oil demand (use) is actually going to start dropping due to renewables. It's not just cars, he was referring to that and windmills and solar and all renewable tech.
Found it interesting.
I was wondering if there is a new site that people are using.
The show 90 day fiance has a couple.
And I couldn't figure out if the woman was a guy (trans). So I went on the shows reddit and asked. And a mod locked my thread because it was anti LQBT or whatever.
I messaged the mod basically saying WTF. It's anti-LGBTQ to ask if someone on a show is trans?
WTF is wrong with this world. Turns out yes
Hold your liquor means tolerance against things like falling over drunk or falling asleep or throwing up. Mostly it's the "getting sick" aspect. Things like going to bed feeling dizzy which would be a better test.
This is absolutely a thing.
