My wife just finished up taking a bunch of classes for a new career. During that time, she had to take a biology class, and we went with one that was all writing and no testing. The teacher incorporated AI into the curriculum in a very interesting way. She gave us case studies that showed how using AI degrades cognitive function, mainly because when its used to write term papers, the students (obviously) do not connect with the material and don't actually learn anything. That being said, she also showed us the ways in which it is very useful, and that is with breaking down complicated documents such as research papers. I've since used it to break down large legal documents and propositions to find out what theyre actually going to do and whether or not attack ads have any truth or not.

Its also not what you see when you look at voting maps of the state, based on counties. The majority of counties in CA vote red, its just the costal counties (outside of Orange) that vote blue, and of course they're have higher populations than the red ones. I also know quite a few MAGA types (there is more than one) here in LA, and you can see that in the voting results, as well.

Nothing new under the sun. Its true, parents should do a better job at parenting, but that's almost never been true, especially with city kids.

Regardless of what you think of AOC, there will not be an AOC 48. Just like there would never be a Hillary 45. The US will be the last democratic country to elect a woman to the highest office. Canada, Italy and a couple others havent, either, but if Japan can elect a woman as Prime Minister, then the others surely will, at some point.

I just got the 15 in March and I'm hoping I get at least 6 years out of it like the 7T Pro I had.

I am also saddened.

I can't stand Samsung. I had three separate models over about ten years. Their poor quality led me to try something else and when T-Mobile briefly sold OnePlus phones, I did some research and took a gamble. It worked out, in my mind.

My 7T Pro just bricked itself, so be careful.. I haven't taken it to anyone to check, but I suspect the data storage did the typical SSD thing. Im hoping I can still pull data off it.

So, I'm just saying, if you want your phone to last forever, you might want to swap out the storage, if that's even possible.

Yeah. I stuck with the brand because of my previous experience with the high quality phones. Before I made this decision, I was looking around and several of my friends were saying they love their Pixels.. so maybe look at that?

I'm really bummed by this. i've own a 7t Pro for over 6 years and due to it hitting full end of life (bricking) I went with the 15. Its a really good phone, although I'm getting used to the weird difference in how it charges.. sometimes its slow and sometimes its not, depending on the cable and adapter being used.

Oh, what, like the current federal administration? Lol.
