Journal johndiii's Journal: Slashdot Poetry Reading Goes Live! 168
Yes, it's finally ready.
The entries are in MP3 format, and I have removed anything that might identify the reader from the tags. Please try to keep the guessing to one thread per entry. The answers will be posted in two or three days, to allow everyone a chance to guess. For those who need a hint, there is a list of participants linked at the bottom of the main page.
Note that the volume levels vary quite a bit, so be prepared to adjust your setting.
Many thanks to all who participated. There are some very good readings, and some excellent original poetry. It has been a very interesting experience for me, and I think that you will all enjoy the results.
And so... The first Slashdot Poetry Reading.
Update: If anyone still wants to participate, but has not sent an entry, feel free to do so. I will add new entries as I receive them (Note that I do not have ftp acess to the site during the day, so new poems will go up in the evening - the earlier in the day I receive them, the better).
Update II: Thanks very much to Some Woman for taking the initiative to post the initial comments for the guessing threads.
Update III: Two new readings. The additional reader(s) have not been added to the list of participants, as that would be something of a giveaway. Consdier those items an extra bonus challenge.
Update IV: One new reading. As before, the participant list has not been updated.
