What is the fun or accomplishment in having AI code for you? I use AI every day professionally and honestly it makes it so any hack coder can maybe do something. But to be a real coder who enjoys losing oneself in code in the age of AI? I can think of almost nothing more pointless at this point.

Pot may not harm the liver but it certainly harms the brain. I do not know many pot users who are capable of feeling "normal" without being under the influence.

I personally do not care how many studies come to similar conclusions. Life is not exactly enjoyable for the most part and moderated drinking helps making existence be more tolerable without any extreme consequences. Prohibitionists and teetotalers should keep their joyless desires to themselves and make themselves feel better by imagining the rest of us burning in hell.

Copilot will be useful in the enterprise because they are the only ones who will use itto find documents in SharePoint and summarize meetings because no one wants to use it for anything else anyway.

The kids using Chromebooks are not running anything that Windows, Linux, or Mac could not run just as easily in a web browser. In that case the kids will not be losing any time as launching a PWA is the same on any of these platforms.

It should not be legal for them to demand that a US citizen gives them their password. Stating that the Constitution does not apply in that area is disgusting. America has become a hell hole and it honestly does not matter which party is in power, this place gets worse.

I wonâ(TM)t lie, this is a terrible reason to make us suffer through the damned clock changes. Parents should be parents and deal with their kids start time regardless of the clock. I donâ(TM)t care which time standard we choose, although I prefer DST, we need to end the clock changes and stick with one of the two.

I believe that humans have caused warming. However, most of the proposed remedies are scams. Carbon credits are a scam. Carbon taxes are a scam. Forcing electric vehicles on the public before the technology was ready resulted in discounted automobiles for mostly upper class people and risked bankrupting the auto industry which supports directly or indirectly quite a few people. I personally will not ever again vote with climate change in mind. In fact, I am likely to vote against anyone who makes too big of deal out of it either way. No one actually knows the trajectory and the fancy computer models are all guesses.

So of course the obvious goal is for governments to take away everything that makes life bearable in an attempt to force everyone to live as long as possible. The older I get the more I look forward to getting off of this rock.

And I am not trading it in for a WIndows PC as I quit those years ago.

Reading this makes me doubly sure that my Xbox Series X will be my last Xbox product.

GM could not make a good IT decision if they tried. I recently bought a new vehicle and had no desire to even test drive one of their vehicles. They have some nice cars, but I want CarPlay and to be notified openly and in advance if my driving data is going to be sold. The government should not have bailed this company out.
