So you admit you can't enjoy life without fucking other people's peace and quiet. Noted.

But doesn't that get cancelled out by less car deaths, pedestrian deaths, pollution deaths etc We can play this game all day long. The virus is killing people and we have few ways of bringing that number down. Our instruments are blunt. We have to deal with that fact and not try and bully everyone to do the opposite of was the "experts" tell us because it makes us seem so, so much smarter.

Until the FDA stepped in and banned it. https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fembryo.asu.edu%2Fpages%2Fu...

TBH not being Christian in those days meant you couldn't do much. Like getting an academic appointment. Or living.

Medical researcher that deals with emerging infection diseases dies from one of those diseases. Elite socialite convicted of sex trafficking of minors commits suicide. Are we saying that we need conspiracies for these things?

There you go https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nature.com%2Farticle...

Shhh. It was eating carrots.

Well we did. We used totally independent data sets, funded by the Koch Brothers, and guess what the conclusion was. The same as the climate "alarmists". http://berkeleyearth.org/summa... But the deniers still keep on denying.

It's way more complicated than that. What's happening 2m above the ground is different than what's happening 100m off the ground and even more so in the middle of the sea. https://ancillary-proxy.atarimworker.io?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2F...

Indeed. And when they do fund for an "independent" study on climate change (like the Koch brothers did with the Berkeley Earth Report) they draw the same conclusions as all the other climate scientists. (The deniers also add the extra step of ignoring that report; while at the same time decrying how "consensus" is unscientific; scientists are brainwashed etc)

So someone writes something, publishes it on an open repository, no peer review and you believe it straight away.

Trees beget trees. So that rotting tree probably spawned a few others. Rinse, repeat.

Like people don't know that already. But how much do we use for those purposes? Is it 50%, 5%, 0.5% of the total oil we use? Also on the other side of the coin: if oil is so precious and valuable why the fuck do we mostly use it to pour into our cars and burn it?!? I would think people like you (and the ex-Top Gear guys who had a whole talk to camera about how useful oil products are) would be the front runners in making sure we just don't burn it for a bit of fun and laziness.

BHs are small compared to their mass-equivalent star size. Because of this they can orbit pretty close to each other before actually merging. This means they can go a percentage of the speed of light when orbiting each other and so create bigger gravitational waves. There is a difference between gravitational waves and gravity.

Wouldn't more people make it easier??
