lol this is the part of the story where they still think they can fix it, still think they can control it, and haven't pissed it off that much yet. End of the world nearly achieved, bois!

The fact that y'all aren't out, even now, on the streets bringing this man down is called complicity
get your fucking shit together and go outside and STOP THIS MAN who will literally seek to end the world before he faces accountability
It's especially hilarious to me that, Trump having torn through every wing of government fucking it up and making sure they can't do the job, destroying all data monitoring capacity/ability to parse collected data, yet here's this leftover initiative from The Before Time causing this big kerfluffle as though it matters. And then, read the zeitgeist, without people to do the job they'll give it to an AI, and the whole system becomes a different game, one they don't know how to play.
Anyway the obvious final fate of the Flock camera is that the police notice they're getting caught all the time doing illegal shit by their own cameras, make some announcement about how they haven't improved policing, and the problem goes away. Or maybe they all develop convenient glitches during abuse situations like the body cameras.
what a joke that they don't have their own devices and are using this plagued bullshit
your faith in the system is really really funny
this is going to be such a short period in history.
So, far more useful for the duress password to take you to a fake account, drawing from your family photos and whatnot so it's plausibly you but with anything important hidden. Interesting
Wow, did you hear that? that was the sound of the free market driving directly up its own ass, the last remaining parking spot in the universe of bullshit it created.
Capitalists have demonstrated their trustworthiness time and again!
yeah it sure counts when you have a captive audience of motherfuckers whose products you can just *yoink* the software off of and stick other shit on without consent, and no doubt count them as users even if they kill it before they've even used it
Hard yes. We'd spent the better part of a decade trending towards WFH, open concept office, etc etc... now, there's not even enough seats. If we hit 100% compliance about a third of us would be sat on the floor.
The dumb sluts are still pushing for it.
we're talking about an OS that literally cannot remember what's currently installed on the system. search will happen when we replace this company as our OS czar.
I love that america is so arrogant as to think it can just redirect the sun and predict the results. I bet there's not even one in ten of you who's even aware of the actual range of potential consequences to this, and that that number is ZERO at the FCC.
The portmanteau would be "fucksministration" - "no fucks given administration"
Nobody said computers were going to be polite.
