I guess you have tried Soulseek? There is a linux (nicotine) and an OS X client (ssX) availible. I have found it to be the best place by far to look for obscure music. You might have to give the search some time though (days) since the user who has the music you want has to be online for it to show up.

And Gemm is a good, although sometimes a bit expensive, place to find second hand Lps and Cds.

You are half correct. As I understand it: Healthy people under normal circumstances regulate their breathing based on CO2 since CO2 will rise well before significant decrease in O2. People with COPD instead regulate based on O2. They are insensitive to CO2 from having had high amounts in their blood for a long time. This is why you have to be careful giving them oxygen since it might downregulate their breathing and cause CO2 poisoning.

It contends that only the most recent one was caused by a 'dinosaur killer' asteroid impact. Evidence suggests that the others were caused by 'great bubbles of toxic H2S gas erupting into the atmosphere' from the oceans due to anoxia." From the article: "The so-called thermal extinction at the end of the Paleocene began when atmospheric CO2 was just under 1,000 parts per million (ppm). At the end of the Triassic, CO2 was just above 1,000 ppm. Today with CO2 around 385 ppm...climbing at an annual rate of 2 ppm...to 3 ppm, levels could approach 900 ppm by the end of the next century."

fistfullast33l writes "In a followup to previous stories on Slashdot, IGN is reporting that TiVo has released a new version of TiVoToGo that now allows subscribers to transfer shows to portables such as the iPod, PSP, and Treo without the need for third-party software such as Videora. The upgrade costs $25 for current subscribers and includes the ability to transfer to desktop PCs as well. To recap, you can now transfer your TiVo shows to your laptop, desktop, and portable, as well as burn them to DVD. Time for me to subscribe to HBO."

The group patterns itself after Piratpartiet, the Swedish political party associated with The Pirate Bay, and says it wants to reform intellectual property and privacy laws."

From the article: 'Suddenly it's like a very fat person [who] uses most of the energy to move the fat. And Linux is no exception. Linux has gotten fat, too.'"
