I may have to abandon my current nom de plume and reincarnate myself as Molly Cokeweed. Or maybe I should swing for the upper class stratosphere and instead become Molly Coke-Weed, Esq.
I was about to suggest LibreOffice, but then I realized you're right. People so stupid they can't use other software that does he same damned job without grabbing your data and putting it behind a paywall can't be helped.
When you commit to the so-called "Cloud", you aren't just voluntarily dropping your pants and bending over a barrel, you're also consenting to a gang bang.
I hear ICE has also requested that the rocket use Tesla's famous self-driving technology.
He's scheduled the launch for July 4.
I made the mistake of starting my taxes with TurboTax once. I didn't like what I was seeing, stopped, and looked for alternatives. That was four years ago, and they've been spamming me ever since. I don't care, because their incessant pleas go straight into the "round file". If you decide to do your taxes on-line, I would recommend GenuTax instead (at least in Canada).
TurboTax is, in my opinion, an invitation to pay more taxes than you owe, because they won't (at least in my case) deal with even the slightest deviation from the most minimal, straightforward tax filing.
I have had to deal with people from India for many years. Here's my analysis: the caste system there is still very strong. So what you get is educated people with a sense of entitlement and arrogance matched only (in many cases, but definitely not all) with utter incompetence. Mostly, it's people from the top caste who get the opportunities, and these are the people I have had to deal with. Individual Indian people may do well, but when you take somebody competent and ask them to deal with an upper caste "engineer", the only way it works is if you can find a way to work around the fucker.
I want to be very clear...this is not a one-off. I've had to deal with these people in situations where there was money on the line (and in one case, lives), and the only answer was to go over their heads and get somebody competent to get the work done.
I just think it's a damned shame the Deep State recruited an assassin who couldn't hit water if he shot off a dock.
The other guy's right. You're full of shit. Talk about butthurt! Go play in the dark with your iPhone or Samsung, or whatever. No doubt Samsung's fake moon pix had you jacking yourself off over the quality of the phone's camera.
Leave discussions of photography for people who have a clue. You don't.
Yeah, the laissez faire approach has worked SO well in the US (sarc).
"Libraries could provide "100GB of encrypted file storage, photo-sharing and document collaboration tools, and media streaming services -- all for free."
Libraries are one of the few remaining places where the weight of one's wallet doesn't determine what access one has to the world of knowledge. It would be good to see them expand into this area.
It doesn't really matter to me how much a US-made laptop would cost. I'm not buying anything from there for a while, nor will I be visiting.
Yeah, really. The guy accuses the EU of being everything the US has become under Trump...a vicious, anti-democratic autocracy.
How do you think he was identified?
