the ability for AI to replace white collar workers is worth trillions.
Ah, yes, does not look good on that front. More like single digit percentages in efficiency gains. But more stress on the workers, so these may be negative gains in effect. Overall, AI is, again, an abject failure that delivers a miniscule amount of what its proponents claim.
That is far too friendly. Shut them down, impund their fortunes and imprison the perpetrators.
Indeed. Criminals usually claim they are not criminals and they had no choice and it really is somebody else's fault.
Excuses, excuses, excuses. And when it goes spectacularly and hugely expensively wrong, it is always just an isolated indicent. NO. Nuclear is fundamentally flawed and so are the people doing it. There is no other rational conclusion at this time. There is a lot of delulus with their heads in the clouds though. Maybe, maybe we can run nuclear safely and cost-effectively in 100 years. But it may take far longer than that.
they don't exist in west so they are fanciful toys. Don't run your mouth off about costs of your imaginary friend's equally imaginary SMR.
bahaha kid here thinks everything made in his wee lifespan.
Nope, Bakerloo line has rolling stock made in 1972 still in service.
Now get off my lawn!
No implication for doing actual computations.
... then it may have some merit. Until "AI" takes you job. If you are actually rightfully called a software "engineer", not important at all. Writing software is not a fast thing once you leave very basic stuff behind.
In case you did not notice, Intel is dead. They ignored the writing on the wall for a decade or two too long, while their profits were still excellent. Same thing that has happened to Boeing and that will happen to Microsoft pretty soon.
Nothing sets them apart. They are merely trying to capitalize of "INTEL!" as long as the average dumb "investor" has not nioticed that Intel is essentially dead by suicide.
What, Intel had a Jim Keller design and killed it? How stupid can you get?
That would be the same dumbass that thought homeopathy can cure cancer, right?
You seem to be unaware or ARM, MIPS, RISK-V, and some other architecture. No, these jokers will not contribute anything worthhile.
Obviously, these rats are part of the failure and the death of Intel (in progress). Why would anybody invest in anything they have to offer?
The truth of a proposition has nothing to do with its credibility. And vice versa.
