Losing net neutrality is how we got FAANG and other companies becoming oracles and arbiters of truth. People lack the necessary knowledge and critical thinking skills to decern the signal through the noise in their daily digital life's so they delegate it to the service provider. Delegating that responsibility has had severe costs for society. We basically gave them the power to elect any person as president they please on a silver platter.

Knifes have been described as swords for the common man. It's an epidemic. Just the other day a Baker was stabbed with a bread knife. I use my spare time to volunteer and educate people on the dangers of knifes and how criminals use them to stab children in dark alleys. Even if there were a 1000 of me, I fear that it won't be enough and the knife industry will be the undoing of us all. Support a knifeless society if you care about your children.

Agile is non prescriptive in its entirety. Sounds like your management is just being prescriptive about the parts they *want* instead of working with the team listening to them to figure out what the *need*. Your suits have hijacked your process. Stand your ground and ask for what you need, if they don't, well, it isn't agile's fault from where I'm standing. Fire your leadership.

Restrictive? Agile allows you to change whatever you want. Scrum? Let's go. Kanban? No problem. XP? Sure. Don't want to use points and hrs instead. Go for it. Chuck the stuff that waste your time or that has no benefit and make your own process that works for you. That's agile. Scrum, kanban xp, they are just starting point. If your complaint is with agile when you can change anything you want even to the point of ending with waterfall, maybe agile isn't the issue.

"Nature isn't about us" I am always bemused when people say things that elevate humans above nature. As if we are not animals too. Or when we say something is "chemical" and not "natural". Is the hydrochloric acid in your stomach not "natural". What do we mean when day something is "unnatural". I believe we mean, "doesn't agree with how I see the world". Is an object that is designed "unnatural"? Like a gun or sword? What about the tools and structures that other animals fashion from rocks, sticks to beavers building dams. Wtf does unnatural even mean?

For some people, it's very important. Some Jews won't eat at places where shellfish is even served, and some Muslims won't eat at any place where pork is served, because of the risk, however infinitesimal, of cross-contamination.

There is a very real chance, in fact pretty much certain, that there are animal meat particles floating through the air all around you that you might inhale and consume them all the time. Those that are this petty about superficial BS can just stop breathing or risk being called a hypocrite.
