As a developer, I feel that some folks don't want to fix their bugs and don't want to deal with issues. Anything that makes it easier for users to report bugs, causes anger to these people.

I think you answer your own question. If polititians can reward their constituents by forcing others to pay, why wouldn't they? You'd need voters to understand that such a policy makes the economy worse -- and there aren't that many people that understand that...

It's cheaper for them to force companies to do it. Rent control, $15 Internet access, requirements for "affordable housing", etc.. It's easier to give things away to your constituents buy giving other peoples money.

The Supreme court only determined that Congress had passed no law allowing for Net Neutrality. It didn't say anything about what would happen if Congress did pass such a law. If you are referring to "originalism" as meaning "follow the Constitution," you are correct. That is what they did. You want Net Neutrality without Congress passing a law on Net Neutrality.

If a game study is forced to support there game indefinitely, it will cost them more and reduce the types of games that they will attempt to develop.
