This is false. Python has 3rd party libraries that handle numbers well. Those libraries are not Python

Python has built-in support for arbitrary precision integers by default, with no 3rd party libraries needed.

In Python, you can precisely calculate 100 factorial with a default installation. You can't do that with C++, Java, or Rust.

Yes I think this is to have a "Made for Windows" or "Made for CoPilot" badge of sorts for Xbox. Their goal is probably to get Xbox to be a brand more like Steam rather than a hardware platform, and instead certify hardware for meeting certain spec tiers. Like PCs and how they make Surface but prefer to work with HP, Lenovo etc on most of the Windows deployments. So I'd expect there'll be MSI Xbox handhelds at Costco any day now, too.

I’ve been in charge of hiring and seen supposed mechanical engineering majors with a PhD and 10 years experience fail to explain, in high school physics simplicity, how a hammer works.

My favorite example of this was a mechanical engineering graduate student with a focus on thermodynamics I lived with in college. He bought a large box of FlaVorIce and put it in the freezer expecting them to freeze overnight. I told him they wouldn't freeze quickly if you don't spread them out (like my farmer father taught me as a kid), and he sarcastically stated that a f*ing thermodynamics engineer could figure out how to freeze water. Fast forward to the morning, and the 10 freeze pops I separated from the box were the only ones frozen. The rest of the box was barely even cold.

But why is it Apple's job (or concern) to prevent other people from scams?

Because once their iPhones are infested with sideloaded malware, customers call Apple tech support and bring it to the "Genius Bar" at the Apple Store, and blame Apple for the problems.

Apple incurs costs and a hit to its image.

Apple can't just say, "You were stupid and now you've voided your warranty," because EU law doesn't let them say that.
