Submission + - House Rejects Teleco Immunity

freedom_india writes: After the huge outcry against Telco immunity, it seems the House has paid attention and http://www.ecommercetimes.com/story/House-Rejects-Telecom-Immunity-as-FISA-Clock-Ticks-Down-61671.html rejected the telco immunity plan, leaving Bush fuming.
From the article: "Warrantless wiretapping totally eviscerates our fundamental process of having a judge provide oversight and serve as a watchdog against abuse," said Peter Vogel, a lawyer.
The current warantless FISA expires this Friday, and unless am mistaken, there should another terrorist attempt to "force" the House to pass the bill.
As always Fox news website says nothing about this.
