"AI", scientifically, is an umbrella term used to encompass multiple fields including LLMs.
Even if the usage were consistent, if the term is misleading then it should be changed. Is language there to work for us, or are we there to work for it?

It's not using AI that's the problem. Problem is using AI to produce a result without understanding the result. Everyone is already or will be using AI in their jobs in 5 years. Not getting students ready for that world is a mistake.
AI isn't as big as the internet was, but it's close. Teaching will have to adapt.

The allies were outclasses and outgunned, on both fronts at the start of the war. Japan and Germany were the bullies. Germany owned all of Europe, except GB. Japan owned the east, and almost beat the US with the victory at Pearl Harbor. The allies kicked the shit out the bully by moving to a war economy and out producing them. And when the bully had the shit kicked out of them, the allies didn't stop. They ground them to a pulp. The allies didn't stop bombing Germany until they surrendered, even though there might have existed some Germans that didn't agree w/ the Nazi agenda.
Hamas is going to get ground to a pulp (well, they already are), because there's no other option. Either they destroy Israel, or they get ground to pulp. That's the choice THEY made. They could of course choose to raise their families and bounce their grandchildren on their knees, but nah.

Although Hamas did win the Palestinian election in 2006, it did seize Gaza by force in 2007 and has held control over the populace by force since then. So, no, nobody has voted for Hamas in the last fifteen years.

I know they let them build tunnels under their schools and hospitals. I know they assisted them smuggling weapons into Gaza, which aided in the 7 Oct massacre.
