Well not with apple. Apple send the raw AAC stream to the headphones for them to decompress and play. Sony's high end ones support it too. The problem becomes that if your music is coming from Spotify, Google or Pandora, they are sent to the headphones by SBC (the lowest quality bluetooth codec) . On android, some manufacturers have added Apt-X or LDAC encoding, so the stream sent to the headphones is higher quality. You're still experiencing encoding artifacts from what ever the music is encoded with plus what ever the encoding is for the stream to the headphones. I'm using LDAC on android 8.0 and I can't hear the artifacts from the codec, but other's might.

They had a great eye for visuals all the way around. The Designers Repubic artwork really made those Wipeout games special (that and the amazing sound tracks). Hell, Wipeout Pure was the main reason I bought a PSP.

To be honest, thats why I like it so much. Almost all of the UI is hidden normally, but available quickly with a quick click. There is definately room for improvement, but its minimalism under normal circumstances is one of the big selling points.

I can't imagine that the labor costs even remotely justify even the cash price for these. I just got custom remolding for some canalphones for around $200 dollars. And I know damned well there isn't more than $500 worth of electronics in most hearing aids.

Actually, they group lines into Citizen/PR and everyone else. Still they have an excellent setup.

Singapore's airport is one of the best I have ever flown through, but the new Hong Kong airport beats it hands down. Both are infinitely better than any airport I have used in the US.

My wife has permanent residency here in the US and I am a citizen . We used to be able to go through border control together and she was treated quite well. Now, she has to be fingerprinted (the fact that her fingerprints are already on file with immigration, has been through the interview process for permanent residency seem to make no difference).

I have permanent residency in her country, Singapore, as well. When we enter or exit Singapore, its quick and easy. Even before I had PR status, it was easier to get in and out of the country as a tourist than it was to get in and out of the US as a citizen. Land of the Free, my ass.

Blackberry used to be MiniUSB, they now use MicroUSB. Plantronics Headsets seem to have made the switch to Micro as well.

uh, the actual makers of the show got paid more by Comedy Central than they did from Adult Swim, thats why Futurama switched. I like Adult Swim too, but I'd rather have the shows creators paid better than hold some allegiance to a tv network brand.

They did bring back Ren and Stimpy a few years ago. It sucked.
