I do not want the same cats who spy on me to be in charge of my internet traffic. Making the internet a public utility, as some are suggesting, is what allows mass censorship of political dissidents. There is currently very little evidence to suggest that private companies censor the internet given a chance, but quite a lot to indicate governments will if able. Therefore, I am opposed to any government regulation of ISPs.
