Why is our society so concerned with how a computer looks? Aren't there already enough idiots who buy computers they don't know how to use without including the people who only want one as a fashion statement? If your biggest concern about your computer is its color, maybe you don't really need a computer. God help me if I ever meet a woman who has to have a different laptop cover for each outfit she owns. That's about the time I pack up my Linux box and move to some remote West Virginia mountaintop to live as a hermit with only my T-1 to keep me company. I don't even have case covers on either of my computers (easiest way to solve that pesky overheating problem). *gasp* What a fashion faux pas! This seems like a case of "let's convince stupid people to buy something they don't need just because it looks cool." So what's the next gimmick? Is Compaq going to start offering lollypops to their customers as incentive to buy? Great, as if I don't have to explain the difference between memory and storage to enough twits as it is...
