It is the same as switching from an (otherwise perfectly working) petrol car to an EV: the first ~100 000 km (60 000 miles) of your brand new EV will generate as many emissions (because of the car manufacturing) as your old petrol car would have generated (because of burning petrol). If you are only going to change the car in order to become emission-free, it is probably better to wait for the end of life of the old car, if you include manufacturing emissions in the equation.

From the very beginning it was likely that there would be no lasting immunity to this COVID based disease. The 4 other COVID diseases in humans (common cold) do not confer immunity. If they did, we'd only catch a cold 4 times in our life.

This particular COVID virus is something to avoid at all costs. Not only can it be deadly, but it can also make you very sick with lingering symptoms that look like they are going to be permanent. Many patients are reporting mental deficit after being sick. That's not going to magically reverse itself.

It's time for an all out lock down and aggressive testing to put an end to the spread of this. This is urgent. It's also time to arrest Betsy DeVos who is complicit in a campaign to kill or harm our children and accelerate the spread of this disease like we haven't seen yet. But fat chance of that with the death cult running the Senate.

My google foo says the smallest black hole is 6.3 solar masses.

1. Plenty of mass to form a black hole.
2. Any other explanation seems unlikely.
3. A 100 solar mass object could easily swallow something with 20 - 50 solar masses. Instant black hole.

You MUST be aggressive in NYC. If you drive meekly no one will know what your up to. When I go back there it takes a while to pick up the tempo but it's a pretty safe way to drive. You just have to stay alert.

How hard is it to look at the current year and from that decide where the window is. That's the way I did my Y2K fixes and the user gets to continue entering 2 digit years and the fixed code is immune to even the Y10K problem. If your dates can be safely treated as within a 99 year window there is no need for using 4 digit years.
