Yeah, 'cos that Rocky Horror thing? That was an unmitigated success! And while I can't bring them to mind, I do believe there have been other movies that were successful on DVD/video after failing in the theaters....

The 80's sucked in so many ways, so revisiting them to revel in how much they sucked is not a good thing. The movie implies Donnie dying will save some lives and change other's for the better. If so, then why show the asian girl? Her life will suck in either reality. I remember at least one other instance of false sympathy for his sacrifice.
