For those not familiar with Atlanta, this is where I-85 intersects I-285 on the northeast side of Atlanta.
Messy.
Contrast with I-75 and I-285 on the northwest side of town:

But trust me... its like a 6 level exit (yeah, 6 levels high... its freaking crazy... taking an exit from it is like riding a roller coaster!).

And the route I take downtown, I-471 before it hits I-71:

Here's a fun game. Pick a highway going into this interchange and try to match it with the same road on the other side. Repeat until you've run out of roads. Then click "hybrid" and see how you did.
Heading west along the 401 for another minute or two, you come to this:

It's the intersection of I-15 (N/S) and US-95 (E/W), with MLK Blvd. running alongside I-15 a short distance west. The interchange between MLK and the 95 isn't even a full interchange. There's no way to get directly to MLK from 95 E, or to get from MLK to 95 W.

Notice also how it vaguely resembles a bifurcation tree. You have choices to make even while you are exiting. LOADS of fun.

One of the most confusing for me is the area around Factoria and Eastgate. Trying to figure out how to get the exit you want or how to get headed in the right direction on the right freeway can be quite the challenge.
By far the worst mess I've ever seen is in downtown LA where I-5, I-10, US-101, and CA-60 all cross and converge.
