I think Conservatives keep bringing up the topic because Liberals don't have a good clear answer to, say, trans in women sports? Conservatives would be stupid to not play that game. And in the same manner, Liberals attack Conservatives where they dont have good, clear answers (say abortion or guns).

Well said. What has been promoted for the last 15 years is discriminatory, racist, segregationist, and sets us way back. As MLK said: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Saddam was butcheting his own citizens before the US involvment. Assad was butchering his own citizens before the US (non-)involvment. Ghaddafi was butchering his own citizens before the US (and EU) involvment. Etc. I don't have strong feelings either way, but letting dictators slaughtering their own in silence is not satisfactory.

You're in massive denial if you think "westerners" have a monopoly on violence. You might want to read some history, and say how the Comanche and Apache repeatedly slaughtered each other before Europeans got involved. Violence is in our animal side, and only a racist and an ignorant would say a certain group of people has a monopoly on it.
