Comment PE sucks in many school districts (Score 1) 289

Talking about living world interactions, there is no other class engaging with full body movements as PE in K-12 schools. But, PE sucks. There is no teaching of sports, e.g. baseball, or soccer, or gymnastics, etc. There is no teaching of basic skills in running, or jumping, or throwing.

IMHO, if our public schools are successful in educating everyone, we should have enough common sense and be immune from fake news and various bias. Sadly, a lot of bias and fake stuff are in our public schools/universities.

Could we allow teachers to throw chalks? Timeout chair? These ancient techniques may work. Is there any high tech tool helpful?

It sounds good on the surface. In the end, it won't be rosy. In a democratic society, the ultimate way to prevent fabricated facts is education. However, our public education system is ...?!
