The caste system is illegal in India. In fact, they have an affirmative action quota system to ensure dalits and others get slots in college and for work. Even the USA does not have that.

Huh? The employee is not paying the employer. And the employer can fire the employee for not getting work done. So there is no extortion by the employee.

The employer hires people to do work. The employee provides information on how best they can accomplish the work the employer wants done. Yes, the employer provides facilities and resources to do the work, but if an employee has a better way to accomplish it, then the employer should not have any problem unless the work does not get done. What you describe is an ownership relationship where you think an employer owns an employee and can force them to perform in suboptimal conditions.

Bruh, the pint is JP Morgan should not have been allowed to sue, and should have to arbitrate per their user agreement. Arbitration decides who owes what, and the arbitration award can be enforced by a court, allowing JP Morgan to go after assets, etc. It is not about resolving a disagreement.
