Basically making us, well, obsolete. And if those cyborgs then follow the corporation's mandate of increased efficiency and planned obsolescence, they'll just delete the older copies, which is US!. The previous posters were tryoin to point out that all the cases of infection were made by "alternative" or unregulated drops, none of which are true homeopathic. The body that atempts to regulate the alternative health markets decrees that nothing can me sold as "homeopathic" if it has anythin butdistiled water and the required few molecules of active extract. Al the eyedrops that caused the injuries were alternative "natural" medicines, not homeopathic, just as the article points out. It's those non sterile "natural" products that should be bannned, not distilled water.

Part of the Russian military problem is that they don't want to just go flat out full scale war. The troops are overworked, they're populated primarily by soldiers who are not ethnically Russian, as in poorer enclaves. Ie, the minorities die in their war in larger numbers than ethnic Russians, and the middle classes want no part of this optional war that serves no purpose. The troops were not trained or prepared for this war, it was sudden and unexpected to them. Military readiness was just non-existent, surprising the West that the feared Russian might was just a lot of barking.

Putin is trying to control all the strings himselves and that hamstrings the military leadership (the ones who aren't just inner circles stooges). Like Dubya Bush going into Iraq, Putin was fooled into believing that the natives would support him and it turns out even native Russian speakers in Ukrained dislike him.

The West bears a lot of fault here though; we KNEW Putin was a dictator in the making and this was ignored. He was coddled and allowed his foibles because we thought there might be some economic benefits that he'd like and he'd see reason. Every aggressive action Putin did was met with hand wringing. Hastily written cease fires were torn up in less than a day and this only caused more hand wringing but no real sanctions or retaliations, while overtures were still being made to Putin hoping he could be molified. We had congress and senate members roundly critizing him who were ignored by multiple administrations. Just like Putin was emulating Hitler, the West were emulating Chamberlain.

Please someone mod this up! That's the best summary I've read.. Also, has shades of Vietnam in the similarities between it and the tsar's war.

They just believe in rubbish like the 'constitution', which is just a tool used to fool them into thinking they have rights.

It's the government that doesn't believe in the constitution.. They exercise a "pick & choose" mentality as to which laws they will abide by when it comes to policy, especially in classified matters. that isn't surprising, because most of them come from the upper echelon of society where the prevailing mentality is that "laws are for other people"...

I mean, seriously - do they really think anyone would be talking about removing the regulations if there weren't already a bunch of wealthy interests pushing hard to start dumping toxic waste in the waterways to save a buck? Nobody is pushing expensive cases through the Supreme Court for idealistic purposes.

Heck, they wouldn't even have standing to bring a case in the first place unless they can prove they are being "harmed" by the existing regulations - a.k.a. they already have toxic waste they're having to pay to dispose of properly instead of just dumping.

Well, it looks to me like someone, or some group, wants to turn the tables back.. Otherwise, why would anyone push for legal changes which would eventually result in the abandonment of federal protections? It took years of of campaigning to implement those federal protections.. I can go live in another country anytime and occasionally I do. I make OK money doing tech consulting work when I need to and I spend little. The radical left have very little impact on me too, but I like the idea of standing up for freedom of thought and expression; the left today, the right tomorrow. "I'm a classical 1970s liberal, which makes me a true conservative today."

Anyway, this is what you are missing: a well organized and compassionate society should protect people's lives and livelihoods, but it should get the hell out of protecting people's FEELINGS. Which is what well meaning idiots on the left are trying to do, and the bastards on the left are using it as cover to gain influence. Once you let the State with its near infinite lethal power get in the business of protecting feelings, the society goes to shit, and it takes a lot of time and resources to clean it up again.
