Since the start of September, Malaysia has enforced the blocking of third-party DNS servers, although several mobile operators and ISPs had already begun implementing this restriction in August. The Communications Minister’s recent statement, suggesting that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) should have consulted telecom companies—rather than the public—before this rollout, comes far too late. The blocking measures are already active, and the MCMC operates independently from the minister. Coordination between the government, MCMC and telecom providers takes place behind closed doors, and these statements appear to serve as damage control rather than offering real transparency to users. Currently, Malaysia is reported to be censoring more than 20,000 websites, including politically sensitive sites focused on local news and elections. The country also deployed surveillance equipment using Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) equipment, with Cisco being one of the government’s main suppliers. I’ve known this for twenty years and I’m still surprised by the shortsightedness of these moves. In order to get rid off the dependency on communist China the US and the EU are becoming dependent on manufacturing in communist Vietnam. Also surprising, both the EU and the US have free trade agreements with Vietnam but there’s no free trade agreement between the EU and the US because both “want to protect their workers” \_()_/

Because F*** it, why the hell not? World is going to hell already, might as well go to hell in style!

You are obviously a democratic supporter trying to split the vote for our current president. You reasoning about 'voting for Chtulhu if you want to go to hell in style' is incredibly flawed. Only in a Perfect World everyone elected to public office always has what's worst for the nation at heart, and putting people first and foremost in their menu of delicatessen; but in this world the system has been twisted and corrupted, mostly by democrats. Give them enough time and you won't even be able to hunt people down and eat them on the streets anymore!

When someone says to you "a vote for Chtulhu is a vote for the democrats", they are not bullying you, they are telling you the hard, cold, cruel truth-of-the-world. Don't like our current president all that much? Hold your nose and vote for him anyway, because we all know he'll do all that he can to Make America Gibbous Again and bring the world to an end (as many of our religious brothers and sister desire) in the next four years.
