Tell us you've never stayed in one without telling us
Usually you want to ask them whether they are on crack instead
The US has never operated as a democracy.
That's very likely the direction they will go. Don't want to pay 1200 for an actual console? Pay "only" 600 (or so) for our gaming thin client, and pray we don't alter the deal... But we will.
There are CPU governors which can help with that. It's gotten easier to play with them recently
Iran's not the big threat in biotech.
If someone was going to turn bacteriophages into a weapon, the prime candidates besides the US are Russia and China. Russia in particular has done a lot of research on them. But it's really not practical to do so as the results are unpredictable (phages have to be carefully targeted to have predictable effects) and if you had a long-distance delivery method it could as easily backfire.
If someone broke into my house and claimed a room
Good news! That didn't happen! Instead, they moved in down the street, paid more in taxes than it costs to support them, and committed fewer crimes than the ICE agents you want to do them harm.
You are factually pro-crime and pro-higher taxes, whether you understand that or not.
You'd prefer bullets?
No, you'd prefer they use bullets.
You utter fool. Don't assume everyone else is ignorant of the world just because you are.
Sometimes you can tell someone is ignorant from their content. Sometimes, it's because they checked the box that is labeled "Post Anonymously"
A lot of airbnbs are former real estate listings that didn't sell at the asking price, so the owner put it up as an Airbnb to pay the property taxes while they sit on it and wait for the market to turn around. Meanwhile homelessness increases and the property rots.
However, the lesson they learned was that high-end graphics weren't worth the cost.
Yes, for them, because their games don't depend on the highest level of tech. It won't work for anyone else, there is only room in the market for one player like that at a time.
The county sheriff's department didn't have enough officers to do as much "policing" so that was in fact a force reduction leading to a reduction in crime.
You're not very good at basic sanity checks. You can run along now.
You are fucking sick in the head. Seriously. So much anger.
Elon's attack on our government has led to the deaths of tens of thousands of people so far and the number is expected to reach into the millions. He's a mass murderer on an epic scale. You're a sick piece of shit for celebrating that, and fuck you and all the other Nazis. I hope you all shoot yourselves in the head in bunkers.
Well that sure is funny because everything used to be fully custom.
It's not funny, which in this context would mean unexpected, because it's gotten so expensive to make chips now because they are so complicated. This is in fact exactly what one would expect.
If it's worth hacking on well, it's worth hacking on for money.
