Not suited for instrument flying? Say it ain't so! I take my 140 into the soup all the time (well, okay, not in the winter when there might be icing). And I can fly it coast-to-coast in two days, which is more than twice as fast as I can do it alone in a car. Yes, in comparison to a Corvalis TT it's kinda pokey, but even so I can beat the door-to-door travel time of a commercial flight to most places within my half of the country.
And I can pack all the liquids I want and don't have to take off my shoes. I learned to fly several years ago after I just couldn't take the asinine stupidity of commercial travel anymore. I don't understand why more people don't do the same. C'mon, everybody! Flying your own plane rocks! And if more of you did it, there'd be better technology and cheaper prices for all of us!
