Yes, they had presidential administrations reaching out to them asking them to follow their policies and bringing specific posts to their attention. Sometimes they did censor or change, sometimes they didn't. Considering that Elon had the "twitter files" released you can actually read what happens then in some of those cases. May I recommend reading them? They're full of corruption in the form of employees debating what is right and wrong in a scenario, and whether its to policy. That was never my understanding of corruption.
That being said, businesses doing business are very often corrupt, and it wouldn't surprise me if they were.
Would you think it was a smart thing to do to buy a business using loans, and then tanking that same business to impress your friends?
