As well, on the same day, Namco just announced that they must sell 500,000 games to begin making profit on PS3 games.
A Financial Times article confirms this speculation on how hard it will be for Sony to make money. An analysts predicts that 30 games must be sold per PS3 for them to break even. Hmmm... seems reasonable... $300 loss a machine, $10 profit a game.... Ouch.
